Levi's + Lucky Mag + M Loves M

A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to the Levi's store on Rodeo Drive and check out, as well as get fitted for, their Curve ID collection. The concept is that it's about shape, not size. It was so weird to see this measuring contraption they used but I was amazed at how accurately my fit, well, fit! It was such a fun event put on my Lucky Magazine and I loved seeing some of my blogging friends, and making new ones!

 I was a Demi Curve and decided to chose a pair of flares with adorable front pockets. Stay tuned to see how I styled them!

Banana Republic + Lucky Magazine Event- Thurs 10/20

You know those times where you're like, "Pinch me. Is this really happening?!" That's how I've been feeling since Lucky Magazine asked me to host this event at Banana Republic tomorrow night. I feel so honored to be working with two companies I love so much! Banana Republic is one of my go-to stores because of classic pieces that are both feminine and modern. 

If you're in the LA area, please come by The Grove tomorrow night October 20th at 5pm. I'll be giving style consultations, talking about the Lucky Dozen Banana Republic items and hanging out. It should be a lot of fun and I'd love it for any of you to come! My Mom got an invite in the mail so you can meet her too :) haha

This is what I wore to the Lucky Magazine Styling Competition on Saturday. I really wanted to look polished since I was presenting my different looks so I had to include a blazer jacket. I think it adds an immediate tone of sophistication. And for the rest of the afternoon I could take the blazer off and still look casual enough!

For participating in the competition, Tacori gifted the five bloggers with these beautiful green onyx earrings. I had to put them on immediately since I think they worked perfectly with the outfit. I'm not normally an earring girl {too lazy most of the time} but I love these. They're so pretty! How do you guys feel about earrings?

Lucky Magazine's Style Competition: Recap

Over the weekend I had the incredible opportunity to participate as a featured blogger in Lucky Magazine's Styling Competition with Tacori Jewelry and Bloomingdales. As I mentioned yesterday we had 4 different looks to style--Menswear Mod, Fabulously Feminine, Layered Luxe, and Glamour Girl. My favorite look by far was the Fabulously Feminine look..I want to wear that outfit soo badly!! Tacori's jewelry was such an amazing addition to each look.

Menswear Mod: I wanted to do something a little different from the black/white tuxedo looks so I decided to give it a pop of color with an blue DVF skirt.

Fabulously Feminine: My favorite look! I love the hot pink blouse with the tangerine high-waisted trouser pants. I think the camel colored coat gives the bright colors I nice neutral balance. 

Layered Luxe: Sequin Vince skirt with blue Rebecca Taylor blouse peaking out of a chunky sweater

Glamour Girl: red skirt, Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse and some faux fur
