look book: breaking good

Navy and black. Isn't that an illegal combo? Maybe that's what makes me like it more. I don't think it's that terrible together, especially when polka dots and a humungous yellow flower pin is thrown into the mix. 

What do you think? Am I guilty or innocent?

look book: white before the wedding

Yeah you've heard the "don't wear white before Memorial Day" rule, but what about the "don't wear white right before your wedding rule?" No? Good, neither have I. And I've never been one to follow those rules anyway. With the white dress being on my mind a lot recently, I decided to wear some of my other white dresses. The weather is up for it and so am I!

Matthew and my mom both thought this dress was new but it's actually an old favorite. I've even worn it here before. I think what made it look new, though, was the necklace I wore with it. I think floral bib necklaces can do a lot for a simple dress or t-shirt and this one is just darling! Please ignore the hideous bruise on my shin. Ginger was so excited to see me after Miami that she ran right into me! This weekend was amazing and I can't wait to show you pictures and tell you more about it later this week!
