For a weekend that was full of cold weather, gray skies, and rain, I feel like I was really productive! It felt so good, considering that I normally like staying indoors whenever the weather is like that. Friday night Matthew and I went to our first registry event and boy was it overwhelming! More about that on Wednesday, though! Saturday I got out the Halloween decorations and started to figure out my costume. I'm trying not to wait until the last minute, like I did last year!

I saw this really cool tutorial {from Beth Jones} inspired by a hairstyle Serena wore on Gossip Girl. It was so easy and I think it was a fun way to show off this bark ear cuff that Mr. Kate sent me to give away to one of you!
